I don't understand how holding a button with no power attached can have any effect, but I highly recommend it for anyone having software issues.

My wifi download speeds are approximately mpbs however when I did a speed test in the Netflix App thru Andorid TV I'm only getting 15 mbps. I still need to check the speed thru my Firestick. It's not a big deal to go thru the Firestick, but for peak efficiency it would be nice to lose the Firestick and just use the Android Smart TV menus for all streaming.

Tonight, I tried streaming. I couldn't get the TV to load the SmartCast interface or any apps. Determined it forgot my WiFi password. I enter it, it fails to connect.

A hard power cycle and another 2 attempts at entering my password, it finally connects fully and lets me open an app. I get no more than 30 seconds into an Amazon Prime show and it disconnects and dumps me back to the not connected screen. Rinse and repeat 3 more times before I give up and eat my cold dinner. I was searching online to see if anyone else was having problems with this update but I can't find anyone who's talking about this update.

Vizio's firmware search seems to be reporting the latest firmware is only 2. So now my question is: am I unluckily on the bleeding edge and Vizio's website hasn't caught up? Or did my TV somehow grab a non-released firmware? However, if you would rather add your own apps that aren't on the core list, you can cast them directly from your smartphone.
