The scroll bar for sound on the first page that has an option to make the chat volume higher or the game volume higher or a mix randomly started to do this weird thing where when I turn the chat volume higher it makes the game volume higher and the chat volume is very low, but when I turn the game volume up it lowers both the game and chat volume.
They just need to fix the functions of the app and improve their online report. Different people suggest different solutions to the problem but what worked for me was updating the headphones with a computer. One of the first things the guide says is to make sure the device is running on the most recent software so I decided to check if there was an update available by connecting it to my computer and what do you know, there was an update.
After updating it I tried connecting it to the app again and it worked instantly. This might be the problem some of you reading this have so I hope this helps. Hopefully the connectivity issues go down and the rating goes up in the future.
Connections all work perfectly! Sound is great! Love the Bluetooth capability! Slightly heavy and after a few hours the tops of my ears begin to become sensitive. This gen2 does not do that. It will not work if you just attach one part of the set since the firmware has to match in both pieces.
When I did that, my firmware for the headset was changed by two releases and the receiver by three. It now sounds pretty close to the DX12 after also applying the Destiny sound profile into what was my racer slot. It does what it needs to do, and it does so flawlessly. It would be 5 stars if it did a couple of things - 1 Had better instructions and 2 Allowed you to create custom profiles for the x and 3 Allowed you to test the profiles with a sample.
I love the headset and agree with the reviews about how Turtle Beach makes an amazing gaming headset. I was sent an email by Turtle Beach stating I needed to update my firmware, and that in order to do that, I needed to download their app.
I have now downloaded and installed this app twice, and every time I go to open it, I get a lovely message saying in encountered a problem and was forced to close.
